Boer Goat
The Boer goat is a breed developed in the early 1900s by Dutch scientists in the Republic of South Africa to increase goat meat production. The Boer breed is currently the world’s best-improved meat goat breed with its carcass quality and rapid growth. In addition to its high genetic potential, its resistance to diseases and high leather quality, its resistance to hot climates, especially arid climates, and its resistance and positive performance in different climates and environmental conditions are typical characteristics of the Boer breed.

Pyhsical Characteristics
Muscular, wide and long waist,
Wide chest, meaty shoulders,
Thigh fullness is a sought after feature in meat animals,
Legs are very strong, nails are hard, well-formed and black,
A strong head, brown eyes and a wide pharynx,
A barrel-like, deep and wide body structure, flexible ribs,
A medium-length neck in harmony with the body length,
Head and ear color is red or brown, the rest of the body is white.
